Madylin Anne-Michele Durrie is a set designer in Los Angeles, Ca. Mady, as she’s want to be called, also dabbles in Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Acting. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of four and fell in love with the area. Madylin acted from a young age before moving on to Interiors where she has received her Associates Degree from FIDM. During her time at school, Madylin participated in extra curricular programs including the coveted Chairing Styles Program, where she watched her small hand sketch become a fully manufactured chair.
Madylin is the Production Manager and Set Designer for the nonprofit theater group, The Loft Ensemble in Sherman Oaks, CA. This job requires the ability to bring a project from the conception phase to the production phase in the span of two weeks. All work with her theater is donation based, this has taught Mady to be judicious with budgets and to create sustainable designs that maintain their structural and visual integrity.
